Youmie Labs: Introduction week

The introduction week section is a separate section in the app that pupils and logged-in house coordinator(s) can access. This section can be completely in the theme of the introduction week, with your own colours and logos! The app contains a countdown to the introduction week, the programme, the list of houses, the latest news, photo albums and contact.

Scholars do not have access to the member app, but have their own environment. They log in with a guest account, which they can then personalise themselves with their details, photo, etcetera. In the pupil environment, the pupils see a number of things about the association, but especially about the introductory period. For example, the association can post news, and compile a programme. This programme is then completed with the events organised by the houses. Scholars thus have a nice overview of everything there is to experience and can register for events, so that the association or the houses know exactly who is coming.

Houses are an important part of association culture. In induction week, they often play a major role by organising their own events, which also have an immediate recruiting and introductory function for the house. With the induction week module, residents of houses can post and manage their events in the pupil environment via the app. Scholars who apply for the events can be accepted or rejected by the house, for example if the event is full.

Through Youmie, you can also have a nice association website created. This website can then be extended with a special section for the introduction week, where all information relevant to students can be found.
