The Utrechtsch Studenten Corps, or USC for short, Utrecht’s oldest student association, was never formally founded but developed gradually. Its origins date back to 1636, when the University was established and a corps of lecturers and a student corps automatically came into being. The year 1816 is often cited as the year of foundation, but in fact that is merely the year the social club was established. The USC is the only Dutch student association open exclusively to men. Members of the USC can now connect with one another even more easily thanks to Youmie’s new iOS app!
Youmie builds association apps for student societies that currently document their centuries-old traditions on paper and in mailings, bringing the almanac, calendar and news together in a single app.
