Once every five years, every association has a big party. How cool is it to expand the app for that year with a lustrum module, where members and reunites can come together and find all the information regarding the lustrum! We recently launched this module for U.V.S.V. / N.V.S.U.
U.V.S.V. / N.V.V.S.U. already had great apps for both members and reunites, but this year, in honour of the 25th lustrum, had it expanded with the lustrum module. This extension works as an in-app app, where members and reunites can come together and find all information regarding the celebration of the lustrum.
We secretly received the theme and colours of lustrum in advance so that we could build them into the app. This allowed us to go live immediately at the unveiling party.
Apart from looking nice, the lustrum section is full of useful features. A large countdown timer counts down to the festive start of lustrum to slowly get everyone in the mood. Furthermore, members and reunions can see all events in a handy calendar overview and can see maps of various locations where the festivities are taking place. Photo albums can be uploaded, members can be updated on the latest news with the news module, and it even includes an in-app shop where all merchandise can be sold!
