We have integrated tailor-made features for hosing in the app for various student associations. Each association works slightly differently but the goal is always the same; to make the hospiteer process as transparent, efficient and fair as possible. The app encourages first-year students to visit as many houses as possible and participate in various house events (such as BBQs and drinks). The houses also play an active role in the app; they can announce events and invite first-year students via the app. And the board can monitor live where freshmen have been, as checking in and out at houses uses QR codes.

We also build nice functionalities for introductory weeks, such as the EL CID week in Leiden, or the KEI week in Groningen. For example, we can enable new prospective members to log into the app but not yet have access to everything. This way, the privacy of existing members is guaranteed but students who want to become members can view the programme, register for events and the association can send them push messages.
