We wrote earlier about the possibility of filling the app yourself with banners from your own sponsors. This is of course an easy way to generate some income. However, there are many more possibilities.
- Jobs and/or careers. Make your app a platform where students and companies can find each other by letting companies post interesting vacancies in your career area.
- Sponsored push messages. Highlight sponsors through a push message to all members.
- Advertorials. Place sponsored content in the news section. A fun story about why your sponsor is so great, for example.
- Splashscreen ad. A great central spot for an advert is also on the splashscreen. This is the screen that comes into view briefly when the app is opened.
- Partners section. All sponsors (or just the biggest ones) can be nicely featured in a special partners section.
- Deals. Have you made deals with nearby restaurants or the local hairdresser? Put these deals in a nice overview in the app, so your members can easily find and use them.
- In development: sell merchandise from your association or sponsors in the app. I am sure you will read more about this in the future!
