Jurist & Werk

The congress for young lawyers, Jurist & Werk, commissioned us to develop an app for congress participants. For example, in the app, participants could compile, view and change their personal programme.

About Jurist & Werk

Every year, the Jurist & Werk Congres is organised by a group of eleven motivated students from Leiden University. For a whole year, they dedicate themselves to organising a professional congress where ambitious law students can get to know their potential future employers in an informal way. The congress strikes the perfect balance between an informative symposium with prominent speakers, and a forward-looking and interactive opportunity to get in touch with several large legal firms.

We were allowed to think along with them and eventually built an app for the participants, in which they could find all information regarding the congress. This included information about the participating firms, speakers at the symposium and the informative workshops. Participants could create their personal programme in the app, change this programme all the time, and easily find information about the time and location of their next parts. A map conveniently showed all locations of the congress.

Featured features

The app and website for Jurist & Work include many of the features made possible by Youmie technology. Some great features highlighted below.

Schedule of appointments

A handy overview of all appointments a participant is attached to. Easy to modify, but also to find additional information.

Offices and participants

An important part for conference participants was getting to know major firms. The app provided information about these firms and allowed participants to see who else was coming to the session.

Jurist & Werk website

Should participants still feel the need to visit the Jurist & Werk website, they could do so without leaving the app.
